They’ve told us that very same thing when we visited bk in July. Im not sure wt is the solution at this point, I dont get it nor do I understand what is going on. I am very pissed nd extremely frustrated!!! I dont know wt to do!! Its been 7 months now & still waiting :s!

that is simply ridiculous. There has to be something you can do. Or at least someone you can speak to. Have you tried calling NVC and speaking to a supervisor or a head of department or something.

I feel so incredibly frustrated FOR all of you who have been waiting 6 months+

its plainly unacceptable in your case.

try to speak to a supervisor at NVC and let them know what the people at the embassy told your husband. Maybe this will help boost your case.

stay strong!

My category is CR1 and CC date is May 26, 2017.  It’s been over 7 months now and I still haven’t received the interview date L

Our case files stays at NVC until we are scheduled for an interview date.   The US embassy in Abu Dhabi tells NVC what dates they are holding interviews, and NVC fills the slot as they become available for the case files that are in CC status.  The embassy only receives our file, once we are scheduled for the interview.  In the meantime it just remains in a queue pending interview date to be issued at NVC.

I just don’t understand why it’s taking this long.

I agree with Znm you should call NVC and talk with supervisor. Have you any one talked with supervisor?

No but might call em soon

my husband spoke to a supervisor at nvc last night and they asked him to contact the embassy directly and ask about the delay and available spots. they're each basically directing applicants to each other.

Sinking into depression at this point. It is now 6 months from the time we thought we would have been out of here....really seriously...this is draining. No progress?

It's been the same for me. good thing is my husband visited me and my daughter last december for 10 days. I received a letter from NVC at I am on que for interview last May 2017 and up till now, after 8 months- nothing... We've already asked one of the US congressmen to follow up on our behalf but they were told the same thing - no slots yet....

The same scenario with us.... The embassy said that they don't have our case yet and it is still with NVC. And NVC said that they are waiting for AUH embassy for a slot. Such a roller coaster ride. And I am on my 8th month waiting game, and 9th month is coming hahahahahah...(insert sarcasm on my laugh)

Hey we have the same CC date and waiting for the interview date.... I got tired of getting frustrated already and just hoping to God some good news will be heard anytime soon... we've been back and forth with NVC and AUH embassy and they are literally pointing fingers at each other lol! And to think, It was already a congressman's office who are making a follow up on our behalf!
