i saw in suha's thread that someone with april 2017 CC received their interview date in november and their interview was scheduled for december. i don't know anyone else with april cc and the rest are all may/june and still waiting.

with trump's latest announcement on jerusalem, several middle eastern US embassies have been put on high alert because of possible protests. i hope they don't start directing more IV cases to Abu Dhabi :rolleyes:

Nooooooo!!! Imagine we will be at NVC for 10 years..

Complain agreed but to who?? Would that help or negatively impact? We can never know its an attorney question.

All whats happening does have an impact but this time its far.

Exactly, you should’ve been next!  All I want to know is was anyone even scheduled in end of November, or at least how far  are they with this process. I mean we deserve to know at least that much!  I did find a few emails and mailing addresses we can contact regarding complaints here in the USA. Yeah i’m worried about the negative impact too, but part of me is also like.. should we be worried?  We are legal US  citizens, doing this legally just like everyone else, but yet so many more countries are getting to fly through this process. I mean the email they sent us in the CC specifically states that we should hear back within 90 days, and it’s not even staying true to that. Maybe it just needs the come into someomes attention that Abu Dhabi is short staffed...? I don’t know.  i’m just so frustrated 😞

If you all are IN the USA...I am sure there has to be somebody (an Ombudsman, or customer service person) to contact there to point out the fact that this embassy is not responsive. You have a much better chance of getting action or at least answers than those of us outside the US. Maybe  your Representative's office? Your State Senator's office? For sure an immigration attorney would know whom to contact to get results. This is getting to be ridiculous.

I see what you saying but its not as easy as it seems. Firstly i won't know who to contact. Secondly, its a US embassy we are talking about, trust me they will be defending them. Lastly, legally the embassy is covered, while it does say 90 days, it states might take longer plus on travel.state.gov -the same info is given.

No one really cares about our emotions but us, sadly but true. But ill see what my attorney says.

Suha, my sequence is ABD201752. We might be scheduled together on the same day!

looks like the sequence doesn't matter as some with ABD2016... are still waiting while some ABD201758XXXX have their visa issued!

i also think US citizens have the right to complain. they are just as much victims of this slow process time as the non US spouse because of the nature of the relationship.

You know, i wanted to go too last time but didnt know how can i get in. I think that might be a better option rather than trying to find someone to complain to here. I feel that even attorneys can only do this much. We are battling a system here. But like u said wait wait wait, pray pray pray

Well actually on my husbands last visit he did go lol but has been told that they haven't received my folder from NVC yet and that as soon as they receive cases they schedule appointments everyday.

so I dont really get who's fault is this delay but all I know is that it has been about 4-5 months since he last visited and asked so I guess he'd have a stronger case when he goes bk. Sooooo we shalll seeeee lol 🙏🏼🙏🏼
