Oakland Paramount Theatre oath ceremony - wrong/unusual time?

I received a letter about scheduled naturalization ceremony in Oakland Paramount Theatre (San Francisco service center).

The preliminary information given after the interview says that participants are required to report at 9:15am and the ceremony starts at 10:00am.

The information on the Paramount Theatre web site says the same: "IMPORTANT: Please arrive no later than 9:30 AM. Ceremonies begin promptly at 10:00 AM."

All reports I see here or elsewhere on the web state the same time.

 

However my letter says "you are scheduled to appear on ... at 1:15pm".

 

I wonder why so unusual time? Is that an error? Or there are so many people that they have TWO naturalization ceremonies in the same day, one on 10am and the next one on 2pm?

 

Did anyone else had time in the afternoon for this venue? Don't want to miss it due to some mistake, but don't want to arrive there 4 hours earlier than necessary either...

I know the central district holds multiple oath ceremonies on a day but not sure on the Northern District. It would be best to contact the district court and confirm whether there are two ceremonies on that day. https://www.cand.uscourts.gov/contact

Biometrics: mid-February

Interview letter: mid-July (for interview in mid-August)

Do you know which number specifically to call? In San Francisco or in Oakland? I am not even sure if the ceremony is administered by the court (and not USCIS office.

 

I tried to call Paramount Theatre but as usual it guides me through endless menus and ends up in someone's voice mail box.

I'd call the general number listed on that link. They should be able to forward your call to the related department from there.

USCIS San Francisco conducts Oath ceremony at Paramount Theatre in Oakland, and it is obviously Administrative Ceremony.

For OP, you can go to the website of Paramount Theatre to find more information. If you Oath Ceremony is on this September 7th, please go at 9:00 to ensure you don't miss the Oath regardless to the time in the notice.

Day 52 - 02/13/2017: N-400 + I-942 resent on the same day, also sent a response to Lockbox to provide information to USCIS.

Day 62 (Day 8) - 02/23/2017: E-notification, E-mail from USCIS, E-mail from Support announced Resubmission was accepted.

Day 66 (Day 12)- 02/27/2017: Notice of Acceptance as Fees Waiver Approval received. (All fees were waived instead of reduced by half as supposed by filing form I-942)

Day 69 (Day 15) - 03/02/2017: Online Status Update: Fingerprint Appointment was scheduled. 

Day 70  (Day 16) - 03/03/2017: Fingerprint Appointment Letter received. Biometric will be on 3/15/17.

Thanks! So are you going to show up at 1:15pm? I'm still thinking if it's safer to come to 9:15am (although it now really looks like they have two ceremonies).
