Do you know if Hurricane Harvey is affecting to send the I-129F package?

Hi, we havent sent the package because we understand what's happening in Texas, but we would like to know if this a bad moment to send it.

I don't think Dallas (where USCIS is located in Texas) is affected. It is Houstan, Texas that is experiencing major problems. It might cause the mail to be delayed and your package might not get there as quickly as it normally would but you don't really have to hold off on sending it in if you're ready.

There is a slight possiblity that it may slow down the process over the next few days to a week, but the Texas service center is based in Dallas, TX and they dont seem to be affected as hard as Houston, TX. Worst case is your petition will be slower to get there due to the weather. Best of luck.

Yeah, Dallas got some heavy rain, but not major flooding or anything. They should be operating as normal.

Dallas is not an affected area as it is in the northern part of the ones that got hit. The hurricane has hit the southern region of the state. Your packet should be okay. I doubt that the carrier of the mails would go towards the affected areas. But even if it was meant to go to the affected areas, due to the weather condition, they should be able to do some reroutes for mails on how they are going to reach the lockbox
