a matter of fact:

Quote

1 often capitalized : a political philosophy, movement, or regime (such as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition.

Quote

Antifa” is a contraction of the word “anti-fascist.” It was coined in Germany in the 1960s and 1970s by a network of groups that spread across Europe to confront right-wing extremists, according to Mr. Pitcavage. A similar movement was seen in the 1980s in the United States and has re-emerged recently as the “alt-right” has risen to prominence.

For some so-called antifa members, the goal is to physically confront white supremacists. “If they can get at them, to assault them and engage in street fighting,” Mr. Pitcavage said. Mr. Lenz, at the Southern Poverty Law Center, called the group “an old left-wing extremist movement.”

Members of the “alt-right” broadly portray protesters who oppose them as “antifa,” or the “alt-left,” and say they bear some responsibility for any violence that ensues — a claim made by Mr. Trump on Tuesday.

But analysts said comparing antifa with neo-Nazi or white supremacist protesters was a false equivalence.

I see you left out part 2 of the definition of fascism.  The part that isn't capitalized.

So Antifa is doing nothing to forcibly suppress their opposition?  Appearces suggest otherwise especially since they are not just anti racism.

The left think differing opinions are fascism, and that a President should be impeached because the left didn't want him elected.

They think attacking people they loosely label a "Nazi" or "white nationalist" or "white supremacist" or whatever else (which now broadly includes people holding cameras and recording them) is justified.

The only fascist elements in here is from the left. All this, because people don't feel compelled to give them their way politically and have differing views.

I've only lived 35 years (as of next month) but I've never seen a group so full of stupid. I honestly think independents, moderates, and conservatives are being way too soft on these people.

Berkeley Police Arrest 13 Protesters In Connection To Antifa Violence

Police have arrested 13 people in connection to violence following this weekend’s protest in Berkeley. In the melee, several people — mainly peaceful, right-wing protesters — became targets of violence from black-clad members of the left-wing extremist movement Antifa.

The Antifa protest was staged as a counter to a “No to Marxism” rally that never happened, but was slated to take place at the Martin Luther King Jr. Civic Center Park. Despite the cancellation of the anti-Marxist rally, over 4,000 people — mainly leftists and Antifa members — showed up to protest.

Berkeley police told CBS San Francisco that they arrested 13 suspects, between ages 20 to 47, on suspicion of various offenses. Certain individuals were charged with assault with a deadly weapon, felony assault, and violations of the city’s municipal code. Police said that most of the suspects are from Berkeley and Oakland, although one is from Sparks, Nevada.

One officer suffered injuries while conducting an arrest, while others were struck by paint. Six people received injuries serious enough to require medical attention by paramedics, and two had to be hospitalized for further treatment, police reported.

I assume these losers likely didn't have a job they were missing out on anyways. Should have their welfare taken away too.
