Waiting for eligibility letter/appointment letter from Abu Dhabi USEM (split and merge)

Hi,I had my medical exam last Aug 12,2017 at mideast clinic, it was more expensive but the service was good. How long did you wait for the eligibility letter? My fiance and I have been waiting for 2 months now since the NOA2 was approved. NVC letter came last July 17. I scheduled the interview last August 15,2017 thinking that it was okay to schedule it since CEAC notified that our case was ready for interview.I went there and was advised to come back and wait for the eligibility letter before I could schedule the interview. The lady was nice and tried to open my file but she couldn't. Anyway, we're just waiting for the letter to come. Do you have any advice on what else we could do to track it? I have read from abu dhabi US embassy website that for K1 visa it is best to just wait and not email them. This visa process has been a rollercoaster ride for us..

 "eligibility letter " you mean the letter of appointment from the embassy?

Hi everyone! Has anybody here recently received their eligibility letter/appointment letter for  interview?How long did you wait for the letter? Our NOA2 was approved last June 28.NVC letter came last July 17. Until now we haven't received anything. I have also read from abu dhabi US embassy website that for K1 visa it is best to just wait and not email them, is this true?

did you check on the CEAC website tracker that your case is listed as "Ready"?

Yes.case ready in CEAC.

Case number has been assigned as well. NVC letter received on july 17 which states that our case has already been forwarded to Abu Dhabi embassy.

I am in the same situation with the embassy in Cairo. I have emailed them twice. I don/t think there is any harm in emailing. You have been waiting for a month and a half. Or even try calling.

hi simon&jen - sorry for the delayed reply. i was traveling and hence could not check vj these last few days. as for your question, there is no "eligibility letter" afaik. perhaps you mean packet 3? i waited for a month to receive my own packet 3, until now i am still waiting! some people seem to get it, while some people (like me, and several others i know) did not get it.

 

To any moderator - can this comment about the eligibility letter be split and made into its own thread please? so that this does not confuse the people looking here for advise on just the medical. @Penguin_ie

Thanks for the reply ms.degie. Really appreciate it. Me and my fiancè are now anxious because our NOA2 approval is going to expire on October. We're wondering if this letter is really going to come.We want to schedule the interview already.

Ours is already running 46 days since the ceac status became "ready". My fiance emailed abudhabiiv@state.gov. It was an auto reply but there was a form where you could fill for your inquiry. When did your ceac status became ready?

@Simon&Jen last august 7.. did you try to check in the case status checker in the embassy website? me too im trying to send them mail but no reply from them. and then im confused also, because as im checking my case number in abudhabi website it shows no case found, however in dubai website it showe under processing. i tought all immigrant cases will be handled by usemm auh. 

but still i dont know whats next steps should be  done. in your case also u did not received anything after the case ready from the ceac right?

 We did not receive anything after the NVC letter came. That was since July 17. Can you send me the link on how to check the case status in the embassy website? Thank you

abudhabiniv.net   its for non immigrant but try mo baka sakali lang. sakin kasi sa dubainiv.net nacheck ko pero now nawala na din ung case status checker don.

I checked abudhabiivo.net and abudhabiniv.net.. no information has been found on both
