Why are they closing? Is there a major holiday?

Anyway, if your shipping option requires signature, send it to Lewisville. Otherwise, mail the package to Dallas lockbox.

For my I-129F, K-1, AOS, EAD, AP and ROC detailed timelines, please refer to my timeline page :)

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

My sincerest gratitude to all VJers, especially the late geowrian.

There is no other place to send it, unfortunately. I've read stories on here of people misunderstanding the instructions and sending it to California Service Center or something similar and all it does is delay the process because the case file will get sent back to Texas anyway.

You're best to either wait or send it anyway and make sure that you make an exact copy of your application so that if it gets lost, you're able to hit the ground with your feet running. Good luck!

Ok do u have the address I'm going to over night my paperwork there

Dallas wasn't severely impacted by Harvey AFAIK. There's no notice of there being issues with the lockbox either, so I think you're fine. Delivery to any location that goes through Houston or another area hard hit by the storm will likely be delayed, but i don't think that would be the case here.

Overnight is fine, but keep in mind you're looking at 6-8+ months for processing, and a 2-day service would only add one day to the timeline but may be significantly cheaper. :) I'm just thinking of another VJ member a couple days ago that paid $120 to overnight their packet but had the wrong fee by $5 and it got rejected and returned to them to fix & re-file.

As geowrian said, Dallas was not (badly) affected by the storm. I have a friend who lives there and, while it's raining, they can still go to work There may be unforeseen delays with the post office either way, but in the grand scheme of things it won't change much on the timeline.

I would highly advise you do your own research on the government websites instead of relying on the information from VJ'ers. We are a community of support and extremely helpful people, but policies and fees and requirements are changing almost every day and all of us filers have filed under a set of different circumstances. It's best for your own success that you do the hard work and rely on this site to only fill in the gaps. They have several addresses depending on what service your using and what application you're filing.

This is a long and grueling process and you'll want to educate yourself as much as possible.

How did you find this website?  Perhaps a Google search?   A Google search for USCIC Dallas Lockbox yields this:
