Should I include Social Security Number if not a citizen?

Hi there, I was wondering if anyone could give me advice on my issue.

I am not a US citizen and currently live in South Africa.

I am applying for a fiance visa, but have previously worked in the USA as a camp counselor in 2013 at which time I was given a social security number.

When filling in the below section of the I-129F Form, should I include my social security number? To my understanding your number is for life, but I only worked in the US briefly a few years ago and don't want to confuse the issue.

Can anybody give me any clarity on this?

It does say "If any" and you do have one so enter your SSN where it's being asked.

For my I-129F, K-1, AOS, EAD, AP and ROC detailed timelines, please refer to my timeline page :)

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

My sincerest gratitude to all VJers, especially the late geowrian.

I am no expert on this issue... i included mine from my time under H1b. According to the Social Security Administration, if you already have a SSN, they will simply issue you a replacement card with your old no. So for that purpose, the answer would be yes. its also easier for them to do a background check under your social ...

Since you are not in the US its obvious that you dont have a Social Security Number so you can leave it blank. That section is for people who might have been in the US previously on a student visa or a work visa and gone back to their country.

I do have one from when I worked there as a summer camp counselor though.

If you have one then enter the SS number because it wont do any harm. It will show that you received salary and paid the taxes and so on.
