Interview outside NOA2 expiration

Hello!

I am at the "schedule an appointment" stage of the k1 visa.....the only problem is.....my fiance is Algerian. We have to schedule through ustraveldocs. We have checked for appointments constantly over the last three weeks  (with nothing available) and we have emailed and called  (nothing available). Our NOA2 expires on November 19. My fear is we will not get an appointment before November 19. What do I need to do if our appointment falls after the expiration date  (priority date)? Do I request some sort of extension? Assume everything will be okay? Any help would be appreciated.....

For your peace of mind and for formal record, I would suggest you to e-mail the embassy and specifically request them to extend your NOA2 validity due to the lack of interview slots availability. This is to avoid any unnecessary dispute when you end up scheduling your interview beyond the existing NOA2 validity  All the best!

Most embassies will automatically renew the I-129F for up to 1 year from initial approval. But if you really want to be confident, contact the embassy.
