"The United States plans to stop issuing visas to citizens from four countries that it says aren’t accepting deported citizens.

The list includes three African countries — Eritrea, Guinea and Sierra Leone — as well as Cambodia. The U.S. has suspended visas twice before under previous administrations in efforts to push deportations forward."

I am surprised that there is no information on VJ about this news. Unless I am not in the correct place but I would think something would have been said about it in this forum. Unless, again, there is no or little interest in the Cambodian Visa process. Anyway, does anyone know anything about this "lack of cooperation" by Cambodia to accept its citizens back into their country; did the US stop issuing visas to Cambodians, particularly the K1?

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..
