Did you get an NOA2 from USCIS yet? We had your same priority date and got the visa 3 months ago.

7/27/2016: I-130 mailed.

8/02/2016: NOA1.

2/17/2017: NOA2.

2/24/2017: I-130 sent to NVC.

 

NVC

3/03/2017:  I-130 received.

3/09/2017: Case # and invoice # received, AOS and IV fees paid.

3/16/2017: DS-260 submitted; AOS and IV packets sent with EP.

4/06/2017: Case complete.

 

Consulate

4/15/2017: Interview email (P4).

5/09/2017: Medical.

5/15/2017: Interview.

5/19/2017: Visa in hand.

I'm from the US. We received our NOA2 on the same day you did. We used electronic processing at NVC, so it sped our case up tremendously. However, at this point, you could have already received your visa by now.

 

Has your case left USCIS? If so, you should call NVC and ask for your case number. It should have been assigned months ago. Your approved petition should have been sent over when ours was. Why you are still waiting is a mystery.

Is the petitioner a USC or greencard holder?

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

i sent the nvs email

they replied and gave me my case number there but told me (see below):

Due to the numerical limitations on immigrant visa issuance prescribed by law, this petition is not eligible for further processing at this time. The NVC will keep this petition until an immigrant visa becomes available.

i have to wait until my cut off date

they publish visa bulleten every month 

i am iraqi

Ok, so you just have to wait then. I just assumed you were a US citizen, because waiting this long would be out of the ordinary.

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal
