Ok so i have a lawyer and im in the CR2 process and im at the NVC and my visa is current. Now supposedly NVC has my scan date but they say they are missing the finacial document(s) not sure if its one or more than one or what. My attorney said he submitted them earlier than he submitted my civil documents.  So he sent 2 packages to NVC. If they checklist me...will my 11 weeks till case close start over? Also i called like the next day they recieved my civil documents and made my scan date. Is it possible they just didnt add it together yet? I already got 1 check list that had a 3 page pdf in my email. Not sure if thats a checklist but i believe it was. It had the documents i need to submit and cover letter and whatever. Can anyone give me some advice or something?

i think that was not check list. That was your welcome letter. Your are not going to get a check until they review your documents. Your lawyer made a mistake by sending documents separately .If you look into NVC site, they even recommend to send everything together in order to avoid documents getting lost and another important thing is to write case number on all documents (Which I don't know if your lawyer did it or not). Have you called NVC after initial contact to see if they are able to locate your financial documents. It is kind of hard to tell whether it is going to take another 11 weeks  after check list but I know from one my friend's experience that after receiving a check list, it took them another 9 weeks(upon receiving documents) to setup an interview.
