I seem to recall when I looked at the list of places that ceremonies were held over summer in MSP-StP, that some looked smaller than others. Mine was at the Riverside Center with 1000 people, my wife's at the Landmark Building with 120 people. So unless you qualify for same day, it may take a few weeks to get notification, then a few more weeks for the ceremony. Hope it sooner for you rather than later.

Cheers.

Hello All,

I had my combo interview yesterday at 9:45 am. Parked at 11 4th S parking garage. All day parking was 11 bucks (not hourly) and can go in an out as many times. Walked 5 mins to the Marquette plaza and got there at 9:15am. Easy Security check in. Long line at the reception desk. Took around 25 mins to get checked in just around 9:40am. Got called in around 9:55 so (15 mins) wait. IO was very nice and she asked me and my wife to come in together. She was an immigrant herself (Asian descent). She went through the pending I-751 first. Asked us a few questions like where we live, any kids, work, how did we meet. Then she moved onto N-400 civics:

- Vice president name

- Why did colonist fight the British

- What does constitution do

- Who signs bills to laws

- Commander in chief if military

- What did Martin Luther Kind Jr. do

Answered all correctly then easy reading and writing task on an Ipad. Then she said I passed the test. She opened the N-400 document and went through each and every question line by line. I answered everything No except Yes to filing taxes and Yes to following laws of USA. I did have traffic citations and I had brought in court certified copies of the receipts but she said if it's less than $500 she doesn't need it. She only made a note of it. She said she will recommend me for approval and gave me a piece of paper stating that.

I also said I have more evidence that I have collected since I filed N-400 if she wants to keep it. She said if she had doubts of marriage she would but she doesn't have any doubts and the evidence I had submitted earlier is more than enough. Hopefully whoever is the next IO who is going to review it will feel the same and just move my case to approval.

She said 4 week to 6 weeks for oath and escorted me out to the door.

It was fast simple easy without issues. We went had brunch afterwards in Minneapolis.

I will update next when I have an oath ceremony scheduled. Seems like it wont be happening until September now.

Good luck to rest of the ones waiting.

Congratulations. Sounds great. Hopefully mine will be getting scheduled soon. Almost a year.

thank you  😊

I will suggest keep checking ur status in uscis.gov i.e. https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do

as per my experience this is the first you will see your updated status when they schedule your oath ceremony.

You should call them and ask.

My interview date was July 31st and today got a notification. Oath ceremony letter has been mailed. I am most probably on September 4th or 11th.

Is there anything about your case that would cause a delay?
