What is the average wait time between interview and ceremony for MN? I know another VJ member who also got a RFE post interview and a week after she submitted RFE response she was scheduled for ceremony. We are still waiting to hear something. It's been 51 days since interview.

Wooow...jeeez! I think someone said it was around two months wait so hopefully you could be getting something soon

The reason I ask is because an RFE didn't seem to slow down anothet VJ members case at all. So I don't know if we're still waiting because of the RFE or because this is standard MN field office wait time.

Did you already send the RFE ? Do you they ask you to do this at the time of the interview?

At combo interview on March 5th they said to my husband everything was good and was reccomended approval for both. A week later he got his ROC approval letter and 10 year GC. A couple days later he got RFE for wanting relationship evidence for N400. We think this happened because the IO didn't take the relationship evidence that he brought with him to interview. We responded with all evidence electronically the day after RFE showed up online. Last status update is" My response to USCIS' request for evidence was received " as of March 15th 2019.

I think you will probably get your ceremony very soon.  It happened with some applicants and they get after like two months!

We brought all docs. If you have a pending ROC and got letter for interview it'll be a combo interview even though the letter will not say that. Bring all relationship evidence. Old and new! Everything from past 3 years. Most of the time they want to see it.

Took care of ROC 3 years ago. but I'll plan on bringing everything.. Spouse not needed for the interview, right?

If you're applying based on the 5 year rule you shouldn't need to bring your spouse. BUT I would still bring all evidence of relationship from the past 3 years. Since you did obtain your permenant residence by marrying a US citizen. Dont leave anything to chance. It's better to bring everything and not need it then to not bring everything and then get a RFE.

My husband isn't bringing any relationship evidence for a 5 year rule. It is one of the reasons we did 5 year vs. 3 year. I find it intrusive.

3/2/18  E-filed N-400 under 5 year rule

3/26/18 Biometrics

7/2019-12/2019 (Yes, 16- 21 months) Estimated time to interview MSP office.

Nonsense.   You can be divorced from USC spouse and still be eligible.   The approval is based on the applicant and the applicant alone

I agree with you. If we could turn back time we would have waited and did the N400 based on 5 year rule. They won't ask to see as much evidence as they would for a 3 year. But even for a 5 year they will still ask some questions and ask for some evidence because permenant residency was obtained through marrying a US citizen.

Yes you can but it's tougher. You have to demonstrate the marriage was entered in good faith and not just to get a green card.
