End 'o January. And just think if you get the interview sooner, you can be pleasantly surprised instead of wringing your hands in prolonged, disappointment as each month passes

Hi!

I’m confused about the biometrics appointment notice. Please provide your experience. I checked my uscis online account and I see my notice receipt only. There was no biometrics appointment letter. But, when I checked case status online with my case number in my uscis, it’s showing that my biometrics appointment was scheduled on April 20th and a mail was sent. I was not notified via email and it doesn’t show up in my online account either. I don’t know what ASC do I go to and when is my appointment date or other details yet. Will I receive these later via mail? Will my online account get updated later? Just making sure I didn’t miss my appointment. Please help!

TIA!

Not new, no, but sucks all the same. Like going to the dmv: we know the wait is/will be excruciating yet we still get frustrated every time. At least I do  😜

Oh wow! Did she get a notice in documents in online account or did she receive a mail? Thanks for sharing. I was planning on going for a walkin at Fargo ASC and was waiting for the appointment letter to arrive.

The online notification just said they'd sent the letter with the appointment, it didn't give a date or anything. The letter itself had the date (which is 23 April, so just over 3 weeks after they sent the letter out). I don't know where the letters are sent out from, but we live in the Minneapolis suburbs so we're very close to the field office.

I checked my account today and received the biometrics appointment 😊. It’s scheduled on 5/8 in Fargo. I will be traveling out of country in May, so I will try to go for a walk-in this Thursday and see if they will accept it.

It shows service center as NBC. Is it same for you guys as well?

I hope so. I’m getting married, so traveling out of country for the wedding. If they don’t accept walk-in, worst case scenario, I will travel back to US just for the fingerprints.

If they don't accept a walk-in, you can reschedule. The Fargo  ASC is not busy so I think you will get the walk-in.

What is the average wait time between interview and ceremony for MN? I know another VJ member who also got a RFE post interview and a week after she submitted RFE response she was scheduled for ceremony. We are still waiting to hear something. It's been 51 days since interview.

Hey guys. Just got a notification that my interview has been scheduled and letter has been mailed. Estimated completion date is still April 2020 ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ . Looking at the responses I should get the letter within 7 days or so. Fingers crossed.
