not badd.. happy for you :)

is there different timeline for 3 and 5 years? any body know?

thank you

Doesn't appear to be the case. It seems to be more based on region (WI, ND, northern MN, vs. MSP area) and whether there is also a pending ROC.

My husband was a 5 year filer, and it was about 14.5 months from filing to his interview date because we aren't in southern MN. Our initial wait estimate was 16-21 months.

3/2/18  E-filed N-400 under 5 year rule

3/26/18 Biometrics

7/2019-12/2019 (Yes, 16- 21 months) Estimated time to interview MSP office.

thank you very much for your response.

does pendin ROC sllow the n400 or make it faster, for e.g. incase if ROC date is current before N400 date? do they interview n400 quicker?

Hi everyone! I’m new to this forum. I applied for my n400 on 04/15/2019 based on 5 year rule (3 months early filing). I live in GF, ND which falls under MN field office. It’s showing 22 months to process the application. Anyone here filed from ND? Will my biometrics be in Fargo? If yes, can I walkin? I have to drive 1.5 hours to go to Fargo. If anyone has experience with this office, please share your experience. TIA.

Greetings from bismarck! Our Biometrics were/have been in Fargo. Not sure if they do walk-ins or not.

And yes, the processing times are ridiculous. Even more so that they only have they like 3 or 4 citizenship ceremonies in ND every year 😫

at least the end is in sight...even if it's really, really far away lol!

End 'o January. And just think if you get the interview sooner, you can be pleasantly surprised instead of wringing your hands in prolonged, disappointment as each month passes

Guys, how long is it taking from interview to oath approximately? We are waiting  for my wife's interview date but we got a notification on Thursday that she has been scheduled for interview...

Most cases is within Two months but it could be more. I am currently waiting for oath day. It took 28 days from interview date for oath to be scheduled and another month to attend oath ceremony.

Thank you!

Still waiting for either an updated online status from USCIS or the mail itself showing the interview date.

People have pointed here that they update in 24 hours but ours has been none since Thursday last week!

My letter was uploaded on USCIS website within 24hrs after I received a notification saying my oath was scheduled.
