Hey guys,

just got the long awaited notification stating that I have been scheduled for oath ceremony. When the letter is uploaded on the website, I will update the spreadsheet. Finally about to get done with this journey. Wishing everyone here the best of luck.

Husband got an interview: May 22 in Duluth.  It couldn't be at a worse date or frankly, a more boring/inconvenient location. Duluth is no closer to NW Minnesota than Minneapolis. I'm just hoping it is same day oath.

3/2/18  E-filed N-400 under 5 year rule

3/26/18 Biometrics

7/2019-12/2019 (Yes, 16- 21 months) Estimated time to interview MSP office.

Than most of Minnesota? Sure. Winnipeg is a much closer drive than Duluth.  We even have to go south to go to GF.

It is more that Duluth is totally to the East and we are to the West.

Probably that's the reason his case has delayed. But it's good news. at least his journey is getting to the end.

Seems silly to delay for that, given that it takes just as long to drive to MSP, ya know?

My husband could care less either way, he isn't all that interested but rather doing it as a perfunctory sort of thing.

I wanted to update everyone..

First i want to thank everyone on VJ. My journey came to an end yesterday. I attended my oath ceremony and i'm now a US Citizen. The ceremony was short.about 40 mins and there were 75 new citizens. For those waiting for your turn, keep your fingers crossed and you will be next.. God bless USA.
