i got denial because of the 3 month residency requirement.

background:

 i moved in MN in 2015 and but havin contracting job I was never sure how long i will be in MN n i kept traveling here n there to my family in florida, also i kept my drivers license from florida had my family address  and also filed taxes using the same florida address. thinking this is how i would not loose the communication from IRS.

i got a denial as they looked me as florida resident because my tax transcripts had florida address and not minnesota .

My wife has been studying for her civics as well. I used the standard "red" flashcards from USCIS, but they were always in the same order. I found this website which has them randomized. Then if you want to see the answer you click on the question or jump to the next question. It also has audio and asks the question aurally, since that's how you will be tested.

Another resource for those interested.

You can guys try the online practice test questions on USCIS website. I did the practice test on their site and answer the first 6 questions that were asked during my interview. If you master this practice test, you should pass the civics test with ease. Here is the link;

NOA March 30 2018

fingerprint APR 17 2018

interview letter - Feb 20 2019

Interview Date - Apt 1 2019

Oath date - waiting

Went to the interview yesterday had it at 9.00 in the morning. I went there little early around 8.15 and checked in and got a number. Called in around 9.15 for the interview and verified all the details i already included on the application. Asked me am i changing my name and the signature. I said yes to change my name but not the signature. Asked me if i owe any taxes and i said no and asked me if i filled for 2018 taxes. I had the tax transcript for 2018 and gave to her. Asked me 6  random civic questions.  Easy ones.  All together I had the interview is for 15 to 20 min.  Interviewer gave me a letter stating she recommended me for the approval and i should hear back for the final approval. When i checked the case update i saw the case was approved and the ceremony estimated for 5 months which i doubt is going to be that long.

Good luck plp.
