Sorry, no further progress yet from USCIS . I will post here and update the spreadsheet as soon as I hear anything.

As of Oct 25 email .... "We are still reviewing your case and there are no updates at this time"

Cheers.

PS I think they have gone into slo-mo again.

Hi, I got biometrics done in mid January, but the status is still we reviewed your biometrics. Does it mean I’m not in line for inteview yet or they have skipped that change in status? Does anyone who was fingerprinted in January got a change in status or in line for interview? Thanks

"in line for interview" is not an official status statement from USCIS, it doesn't mean being placed in line for the interview. After biometrics, the next status should be "interview was scheduled"

to review other applicants status, go to the link in my signature for better sense. you are welcome to add your timeline as well.

Hey, collective mind, many people here mention statuses "inline for interview" or "scheduling for interview".

My USCIS account still says "We reviewed your biometrics" (for almost 8 months to date). Should there be status update between biometrics and interview?

Finally, I have received an online update that my case and my wife's case are now in the status of "interview was scheduled". We should receive interview notice in a week. I filed in July 2017, and priority date was 9/22. We were in the "scheduling for interview" since 10/31/2017.

congrats!

My USCIS account still says "We reviewed your biometrics" (for almost 8 months to date). Should there be status update between biometrics and interview?

So here's what I noticed.

I did my biometrics 10/2017, and after a long time, (8 months or so), the status stayed at Biometrics.

Then around August 2018, my status changed to "inline for interview", and it gave me a date of 10/31/2017 as my inline date or something like that.

This is when I get really anxious and discovered this thread. Thanks MarcUSA by the way.

Then yesterday, I got the notice that says my interview is scheduled and I should receive the interview letter in the next few days.

So there's definitely a difference between "inline for interview" and "scheduling for interview". And when you receive the "inline for interview" status change, it would back date to your finger print date or close to that. Hope this helps you.
