Hi,

I'm gonna be submitting my n-400 in about a month. Are tax transcripts (last 3 years) enough or officers in MN require to present more evidence?

Thank you.

PS: I'm preparing myself for long wait too.

well on the plus side they processed more applications (approved plus denied) than the previous quarters 2450 (2018Q2) vs 1851 (2018Q1) vs 2031 (2017Q4). The problem is they are flooded with applications, as are many other field offices esp in the larger cities. According to an article I read, the USCIS is funded by the cost of the applications processing fees. Not so long ago they increased the fees, to supposedly hire more staff and that may be true, but then there seems to be more applications, so there may be a lag while people get trained up. Also, I read an article which talked about the new digital system, supposed to replace the paper system, but it was having some issues and they failed to get the productivity gains hoped for,

my case has cleared  FBI background check since March/April 2018.  based on the average number from the ferum, i will wait for additional 6 months before i have assigned slot for the interview.

How would you know when your case cleared fbi check? Is it when the case goes in line for an interview?

Hey guys.. Just got introduced to this thread.

I'm in Minneapolis and I applied for Naturalization on 7/14/2018. I did apply online and upload all possible documentation - from passports, GC, to my wife's birth certificate, kid's birth certificate, their passports, mortgage documents, tax returns, W2, all my H1B receipts and approval letters, insurance cards..

My estimated completion date is May 2020 (22 months)

However, I got biometric appt letter on 7/21/2018 (in a week!) and it's set up on 8/6/2018.

So, the pace is good and bad? I have thread on questioning the estimated completion date (22 Month N400 Wait Time), but since here you guys are tracking MN applications, I wanted to throw my name in the tracker as well.

thanks!

The biometrics appointment get scheduled pretty quick. I am a May'18 filer (Field office: St Paul MN) and had my biometrics done within a month of filing.

Unfortunately MN seems to have a very high wait time, so the actual processing time is much higher than other FOs.

Good luck!

welcome to this MN group. the estimated calculation of waiting period is after biometrics is completed.
