Wow you filed May 2020 and got an interview!?! What strings did you pull to manage that? Lol. I applied January of 2020 and no sign of interview 😳. I also have a pending i751 from 2018.

I am not sure, but what could be the case in my opinion is a mistake USCIS did in my application long ago and I went ahead and corrected it, when I did so, I clearly remember the officer in charge back then told me " If all applicants were as honest as you, we would fly through all applications, talk about dignity"

My story is long, but I came here on the wrong visa and a wrong Greencard was given to me, we applied for a CR1 through DCF, I was given an IR1 and a 10 years GC. Knowing it was wrong, I contacted the USCIS office abroad (where we applied) and informed them, they gave me an affidavit to approve my travel and visa category and to correct it in the USA Once I land, once landed the airport CBP told me they can only stamp and issue what they see, so they gave me IR1 and 10 years card came in the mail, I still went to USCIS in person without info pass and asked to speak to the office manager or highest officer in charge, the security were nice to inform him and he came outside to talk to me, when I explained the situation and showed the emails I sent to USCIS office abroad, he himself helped me file for a replacement, i90, told me what to do next and since then my applications and waiting times are not very long...

Initially the plan was to come here as IR1 after 2 years of marriage, but due to the direct consular filing, our petition start to visa in hand took 5 months...so I had to fly here before the 2 years anniversary...

Wow. I wonder what makes one’s file “clean and clear”.  I filed in July 2020.  I have not received any interview notice.  I did get a biometric reuse notice in Feb.

It's funny that I am more anxious for this appointment more than any of the others, maybe because we are so close to the end of this journey. I've been checking more than I usually would. Hopefully we hear soon!! :)

Yes same place. I'm wondering if they will relax covid rules to allow maybe 1 or 2 to come witness as its in the convention center. I'd love my Husband and Son to be there. Maybe there will be info in the mailed letter.

Congrats!!!! How long between interview/approval until oath date?

It looks like that it is about 8 weeks. Up until this person as well as Paddygirl, it was taking about 4-5 weeks. I think that's a change because the location has changed as well. I think they will be including more people at the same time at a bigger location such as the St Paul convention center. That would be my guess from following this location and its changes in the past couple of years. If I have to guess, for the next two weeks or maybe more, all approved interviewees will be scheduled on May 6th or around there. Let's wait and see.
