Thanks for sharing that. I was wondering if the wait time is until the application gets approved or till you finish your oath ceremony and get naturalized.
So you still had 4 months left and your application is approved and you don’t see wait time. Do you still see estimated case completion time?

No, I dont see any estimated completion time, nor anything. I imagine because they already mail the Oath Ceremony Note, there is already a set time for the completion of the case. Just my thought

Wohoo! Your wait has almost come to an end. I am praying that my process goes fast and smooth. A girl can dream 😂

@Hydigal Not so fast 😃. I told you I applied in early August 2018 and my interview is not even scheduled. ND is quiet different.

You are right. I was thinking about your timeline the other day. What does your online application show now? We are taking longer than expected to process your application?

Is your wait time and estimated case completion time in days now? It sucks that it’s been 14 months for you and no interview notice yet. Hopefully you get it soon buddy 👍

This is what it shows

Estimated wait time:

We are taking longer than expected to process your case. You do not need to do anything at this time.

Estimated completion date was October 2019

I really dont know why your case has taken so long. If there is something so peculiar about your case, let us know so those who had similar problem can tell you what they did.

Hi ,

There is nothing  peculiar , and I asked Uscis  representative  when I called, he said everything seems fine. I apply on 5 years base, I came through Diversity Visa with my wife.

No criminal record beside one ticket of $160.

No name change.

hmm, Once your wife has been approved, it seems everything is fine. If there were any problem, it would have affected both of you. Could it be your name might have pulled someone with same name's info during the background check? it sometimes happens. i don't know. Lets hope for the best.

My wife was approve and her certificate since august. I remember my GC was delayed too about 3 months ,they called me and have to reschedule a fingerprint  and after that I receive my GC. May be there is something  with my name, but I m the only one in US with that name as far as I know😁😁

My wife had her interview today and it went well.  The interviewer was a very nice lady and had only a few questions about N-400.  She was happy with all my wife's answers and she also aced the test questions and language test without any errors.  The interview started 5 minutes early and took about 30 minutes.  My wife got a letter stating that the she has been recommended for approval and I just checked her account online and the status is already ''Approved''.  At the end of the interview my wife was told that she will receive a letter about the oath in about 15 days.  The online account shows now estimated time to completion 3 months.  We submitted her application on March 11, so it too slightly less than 8 months from application to approval, and now hopefully no more than two more to the oath.
