Urgent Aos question

Guys ,i sent my aos package 1 week ago,and i got it back today and i have a form i-797c for each of my application ,and it says rejection notice ,and then it explains that the payment amount is incorrect? I sent 2 checks one for the amount 1220 and one for the amount 535 ?

The correct amount should have been $1225 total; $1140 aos plus $85 biometrics

It's free when submitted with the i485 as is the i765.

The i130 is $535 that's correct but the other one is $1225

Number of checks doesn't matter just the total amount but most send two

So they sent back the whole package doesnmt matter that i sent the right amount for the 130 ? Damn for 5$ 😭 .Anyway it says that i need to submit the right amount and sent the package back

Yea ik it sucks! Happened b4 to plenty of ppl if that makes you feel better 😂

It has to be exact, whether too much or too little for the package... 🙃

Jesus Christ i paid 120$ just so they can have the package next morning at 8 am lmao .It doesn't matter it just almost gave me a heart attack.I saw all the notice of action for all the papers and its talking only for the payment ,so i guess the papers and everything else should be correct right ? Since they didn't mention anything else

Correct just include the correct check - make a copy of the NOA sheet for your records and send back with that paper on top, you can add a note to it "resending with correct filing fees" or smth if you want. 

Ouch! Extra $120 down the drain.. BUT it will all be alright in the end! No point beating yourself up

When you send it back with the correct payment, it will be like you never submitted it before---a brand new application, as you will  

I had mine sent back a loooooooooong time ago when I was filing for AOS...because I made one of the checks out wrong ...nearly had a heart attack when I saw my entire package being sent back to me...

Same things man,and then i saw rejection notice ,i was like me .Then i saw everywhere only payment payment payment ,i was kind of expecting a notice on maybe 500 things but not on the paument lol .Thank you so much ,and good luck ✌🏻

I don't care about the 120$ at all,as long as everything else is good.Thank you soooo muchh i really appreciate it 😊
