Hey

I applied for AOS from marriage to a USC and got an RFE asking the petitioner to file the complete Federal Tax return for the most recent year.

well the most recent year is 2016 and the petitioner got an extension till october for filing the 2016 tax but after getting the RFE we did e-file the 2016 tax. so this is what we sent back to USCIS

Form 1040 signed 2016 that is e-filed

W2 and 1099 2016

Offcial IRS Wages and W2 transcript 2016

So is this the right response?

i keep in reading people asking the IRS transcript to be sent in response but the official transcript is nt available till 5-6 weeks after we file.

We did mention in the cover letter about the extension of 2016 tax filing.

just wanted to ask whether my response was appropriate?

thanks
