Hi,

I'm a UK citizen traveling to the soon to visit my boyfriend on the VWP. We know we want to get married one day, but we'll want to live in the UK.

 

If we spontaneously decided to get married while I'm there and have no intention of changing my status, but will come home within the 90 days, would that be acceptable? Would there be any undesirable consequences from it?

 

I'd be very grateful for any direct answers. It's difficult to know where to go for the correct info on the web. Thank you to anyone who takes the time to answer. 😊
