Hello, everyone:

I filled I130 forms for my parents (currently staying in US) and filed them to Chicago center together with their 485 etc in Feb 2017. We haven't received any update after the finger print.

Later we found for the question 22 in the I130 form:

'Your relative is in the United States and will apply for adjustment of status to that of a lawful permanent resident at the USCIS office in:"

I filled the location where 485 was filed to which is 'Chicago IL', which now I found out it was wrong and should be the LOCAL nearest location.

Can anyone have insight what is the impact for this error and any thing we can do with it?

  Thanks a lot.
