Tourist Visa for my Mother - what can i do to strengthen her chances

I'm hoping you guys can help me out.  I want my mother to visit me here as I haven't seen her in 3 years.

 

  • My mother lives in the Philippines and is a housewife.
  • She doesn't have her own house, she only rents.
  • She does have a bank account but does not have substantial money in it.
  • She gets a monthly allowance from my father who works overseas.
  • My sister lives nearby with my nephew. 


What can I do to strengthen her ties to the Philippines so she can visit me here?

International travel sounds a good idea.

She will be traveling around southeast Asia by the end of this year. We're planning for her to visit next year. I just want to know what else I can do to help her visit.  If her chances are not great, I'd just visit her but maybe in a few years. I'm working and it's hard to take off 2 weeks straight.

the tourist visa is all about her. any letter of support or transfer of money to her will only hurt her chances.

Okay. Since she is not working, I thought she can say that I can support her trip. Thank you for your advice.
