This, I could support - kind of.  But as you know, that's not the way the military works.  Equality for all means that if a person wants health care in the form of gender surgery, they are entitled to it.  And that comes with a period of non-deployability.

Now, if a person joined after already being TG, ready to deploy, not such a big deal, right?  But what standards do you use for the PT test?  Now women who want to be men will never score as high, affecting promotions.  Men who become women will have a distinct advantage over those of the real sex, scoring very high, and thereby gaining an advantage in the promotion system.  How would that work out?  So complicated...

Let's keep this real simple. Who cares if you are a man, woman or transgender. If you can do the job and are ready to deploy right away no problem. If not you shouldn't be in the military.

And where would you put the people that identify as Pokemon or some race from Star Trek?  Gotta consider the important things here.

Those people would be found mentally unfit for duty. The problem is that the so-called president shares the same such bigotry as your illustration. There is no current problem with medical costs and inability to deploy, solving the problem that doesn't currently exist is just a thinly disguised smoke screen to cover the bigotry of Dear Leader.

Sorry, but you are 100% incorrect.  It's obvious you have never been in the military.

Stop letting your hatred for Trump cloud your judgment.  I know you can rise above it and see the light in spite of him.

I did ask if ready4one had ever been in and as of yet has not responded back to me at all. It is obvious from his statements that he has never served in the military at all because he keeps spouting off the same ideological BS.

The Armed Forces does have a problem with deployabilty of people and if you can't deploy then you are basically useless. If it was anything else then they would force you out or separate you.

I know.  It's not his/her fault.  People who have never been in really have no clue as to what's good for order, discipline, and morale in a combat-ready unit.  Thank goodness Mattis and others like him are steering our president the right way on this.  And thankfully, I think he will listen.

I don't hate Trump, but I can see through his act every day of the week. This is his bigotry painted with a patina of legitimacy by alledgedly solving a problem that doesn't exist.

Thanks for your service, but we would not be getting the type of information in the OP if there was actually a quantifiable cost and actual numbers of troops taking advantage of sex change operations while in the military. Unless you were very high up, and actually in a position to see such information your really just telling us that there are also bigots in the ranks, not just the so-called commander in chief.

Donald Trump brought the so called moniker on himself. He respects no one else so why should anyone feel like they have to show him respect? Respect is earned. Has absolutely nothing to do with Hilary Clinton.

They're still in the fetal position..

And these babies think the country should follow them while they throw fits and refuse to get over the election.

Keep up the fits.

The election is over. The fits, the tantrums, those are coming from the top, as Dear Leader has delusionally excused his failure to get the popular vote by publicly claiming that he did but it was stolen from him due to millions of illegal votes. That is just one clear indication the man is not right in the head, and pathologically a liar. It hasn't gotten any better since the early days when he spewed forth that gem, and many more have followed.

Some people are just really confused about what most people already know. Donald Trump sucks as a human being. This has lead to him sucking as the so-called president.
