Hi All

 

I received NOA2 on August 17 and waiting for case # from NVC.    Once I have the case #, can I email the packet 3 to U.S. Consulate in Vietnam?  I heard people emailing packet 3 to the consulate.

You can wait around 1 week or 10 days, then call NVC get the case numbers.. 

Whenever you got the case numbers, they will let you know your case sent to  Sai Gon US Consulate 

What I did when I got case numbers,do the DS 160 ..

The package 3 ,US consulate will mails to your finance's.. Waite for 10 days ,if still got that ,then you can emails them ..

Ok. That is great.  I am in U.S. and was planning to do the DS160 for my fiance and mail (DHL, FedEX, USPS, etc) the documents to U.S.  consulate in Vietnam.   

So, I don't have to mail it to them instead I can email it to them.  What is the email address that I should be using?

All required documents as per instructions in Packet 3 must be mailed to the U.S. Consulate in Saigon. They cannot be emailed.

 

What Klispch17310 was saying is that if your fiancee still has not received her Packet 3 after a certain time, she (or you) can go to the U.S. Consulate website and fill out an inquiry to ask them to email her Packet 3, which is a one-page letter.
