I applaud you for knowing it wasn't true already (or for at least searching google to see if it were true or not).  MANY people have falsely attributed that quote to Churchill.  Some to Huey, too.

 

I mean, wasn't it Abraham Lincoln who said if it was on the internet, it must be true?

   If a statement was truly accurate, why attribute it to someone like Churchill? There must be a reason someone decided the statement can't stand on it's own merit. Churchill embodies strength.
