@Hank Question.. What supporting documents shall I bring when I pick up my kids' passport fro 2GO MOA? Do I need to bring my kids  with me? I have read that I need to indicate the fee receipt number but I do not know where to do I find this particular information? Their visa interview was scheduled by NVC and the only thing I did was to call the Immigrant Visa hotline for USEM for the delivery address of their passports in which I chose to have them delivered to 2GO MOA and I will just pick it up from there.

I didn't see anything where CFO ask for a receipt number.       For CFO you would pay the P400 fee there, not sure what other receipt number CFO would need.   CFO will want copies of everything I listed earlier.

Here are the registration instructions, they do make it very clear

B. Exempted (Proceed to Step 5)

5. Click “Proceed to registration” button to complete the on-line registration form.

6. Upload your recent clear photo and supply correct and complete information in all the fields required in the registration form.

7. Download and print the barcoded confirmation form. Bring this document together with all the other requirements to CFO on date of appointment. NO NEED TO PRINT your registration form. Please come to CFO at least 2 hours before your scheduled PDOS/PEER session for the verification process.

To complete the online registration you may have to find an internet cafe .. just a thought.

@Hank

The receipt number that I mentioned was for the passport retrieval from 2GO, I read that I need that info when I pick up the passports from 2GO MOA, and I do not know if they were pertaining to the Immigrant Visa Processing Fee that I paid online thru CEAC for my kids. (I paid $120 for the AOS and $325 each for the Immigrant Visa application Processing fee). Are there any other fees that I need to pay?

Ah ... for 2GO.  They can use the UID code from visa payment, but they can also use the MNL# or passport number, but that is for tracking mostly.   They will want picture ID when you pickup the packages.

There are NO fees, the visa package delivery is included in the visa fee.

Thank you @Hank. I will bring my DL and/or passport when I pick up my kids' passport from 2GO MOA branch. I am praying that I will be able to do that in a few days so that I can fly back to SFO with my kids or else I have no choice but let them fly by themselves because I really need to be back by the 17th. I already asked DSWD and they do not need travel clearance, just the passport  with immigrant visa and PDOS sticker. In case this happens, are you familiar with the policies of unaccompanied minors who are traveling to US?

No travel clearance is needed with travel with their mother.   Unaccompanied is another story..

Me - I am betting you will have the visa packages by Tuesday or Wednesday.  ;)

But if they are not ready to travel by the 17th :

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS IN SECURING A TRAVEL CLEARANCE?

For  minor/s travelling alone to a foreign country for the first time:

  1. Duly accomplished Application Form;
  2. Assessment Report from the Local Social Welfare and Development Office (LSWDO) or SWOII of the Social Welfare and Development (SWAD) Team when necessary;
  3. Birth certificate on security paper (SECPA) from PSA
  4. A photocopy of the marriage certificate on security paper (SECPA) of the minor’s parents or the Court Decision on Legal Guardianship of the minor, or tallaq or fasakh certification from the Shariah Court or any Muslim Barangay or Religious leader;
  5. In the case of illegitimate minor, a certificate of no marriage (CENOMAR) of the minor’s mother from the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) on Security paper (SECPA);
  6. Notarized (notarized at the place of residence) affidavit or written consent of parents, the solo parent and the legal guardian, whichever is applicable, permitting the minor to travel to a foreign country. In the absence of both  parents or an appointed legal guardian, the relative’s consent in the order of preference provided under Article 216 of the Family Code of the Philippines (Executive Order No. 209 as amended) shall prevail and in which case, an Assessment Report by the Social Worker of the LSWDO should also be submitted with a copy of the parent/s/legal guardian’s valid identification card with specimen signature, and visa of parents if working abroad (for legitimate children, both grandparents who have the custody of the minor). For illegitimate or non-marital child, consent of maternal grandparents is required.
  7. Two (2) original colored passport size photos (white, red, or blue background) of the minor taken within the last six (6) months from the time of application. No scanned picture is allowed.
  8. Affidavit of Support and certified copy of any evidence to show financial capability of sponsor (parents/legal guardian or other person/agency shouldering the expenses)
  • Certificate of Employment
  • Latest Income Tax Return
  • Bank Statement, etc.

Just verified with DSWD no travel clearance needed even when they are unaccompanied during their travel to SFO. They are exempted since they have immigrant visa. I called their hotline and the person said they can leave the Philippines without the travel clearance as long as they have immigrant visa.

@Hank I would pray for that too that their passports and visa packets would be ready for pick-up by Tuesday. I trust your judgement. 😉 Thank you. 😘

WHO DOES NOT NEED TRAVEL CLEARANCE?

I. A minor accompanied by the following:

  1.  Either or both of the minor’s parents, if the minor is legitimate;
  2. The minor’s biological  mother, if the minor is illegitimate;
  3. The minor’s father who has been granted sole parental authority or custody by the proper court, if the minor is illegitimate;
  4. The minor’s legal guardian;
  5. The person, including one of the minor’s parents, who was granted sole parental authority or legal custody by the proper court, in which case the court decision should specifically include a statement to this effect, i.e., naming the person to whom sole parental authority of legal custody over the minor has been granted.
  6. Minor’s adoptive parents if the minor is granted with adoption decree & Certificate of Finality.

II. A minor who is an immigrant or a permanent resident abroad, with foreign passport, or whose parents are in the foreign service holding diplomatic/official passport such as Ambassador/General Consul/Consul/Attaches, provided he/she is holding a valid passport and a visa such as dependent visa/identification card which serves as proof that the travel does not constitute child trafficking.

Still no email nor text from 2go and I am getting worried because I need to fly back to SFO. I tried tracking my kids’ passports but it would always say “invalid”. I wanted to book tickets because the rates are getting higher but I am afraid to  because we still do not have the kids’ passports on hand. Is there any way that I can check if it has been picked up by 2go to the US Embassy in MNL? I tried calling 2go’s number but they said they cannot track it without the tracking info/number. I am hoping and praying  to hear from them today. 🙏🏻
