Hi friends,

I am filling for adjustment of status (by marriage, I'm on B2 visa) and I have a question: I've been working for the past three years as a freelancer, but very few works. Shall I write this in the employment information? Or just unemployed?

Thank u.

Generally speaking, I would recommend to include because USCIS reserves a right to cancel or revoke any immigration benefits if they find it later, which is why I did include even my voluntary works. I was quite sure they would never be able to see but when it becomes the highlighted issue in the future that we don't have ideas, they would do retaliation based on that missing information.

it asked what your job is! so you put down freelancer. its ok to work and its all forgiven when married so u should write it down. if you dont write it down and htey find out then u r in trouble! they wont even bring up employment
