Yes, it is absolutely normal. 

My status changed from Fingerprint was scheduled to Inline for an interview after 17 days. (3/3 - 3/20). I did walk-in early. (Original appointment was on 3/15)

Usually, it took 5-5.5 months after fingerprint to be scheduled for an interview. 

I guess you might get your interview letter around Christmas and your interview will be fall in Jan 2018.

Haha, I guess so. When she asked if I went to travel anywhere, I told her No because I love U.S. lol, and she did not believe me. She opened my passport and it surprised her! (No travel record) lol. Even no travel to Canada and Mexico!

 I was trying to request her to let me take an Oath on 9/26 because I would be moved on 9/28 to LA. She brought my applications to consult with her supervisor; and her supervisor told me they would let me take an Oath in LA, but I refused since I don't want hassle. 

I am so surprised too. 

 

Btw, see you tomorrow lol.

10/12/2018- received email from NVC with the case # ( CEAC processing )

10/16/2018- Paid Fees AOS and Visa Fee

10/19/2018- Submitted Documents. Civil Documents/AOS and completed DS260

10/30/2018- received email from NVC. checked my CEAC acct rejected AOS, Police Clearance and Birth Certificate

Reason: some part is cut off and not clear. Resubmitted the same day.

11/08/2018- Received an email from NVC that all the required documents are approved. Its documentarily qualified and they will schedule the interview.

11/19/2018- Received an email that interview is scheduled for December 17

11/22/2018- First day medical

11/23/2018- Second day medical saw abnormality on the xray need to go back for sputum culture.

1/31/2019-Back to St.Lukes. Medical approved. Scheduled Interview 

2/08/2019-INTERVIEW PASSED

2/13/2019-Visa Issued Status

Just done with the ceremony. 

I arrived at the Paramount approx. 8:55 and there were a huge crowd. I got in line my mom was directed to the upstair (balcony).

There were total 1340 applicants got naturalized today, from 97 countries.

The staffs are pretty nice. The supervisor opened the ceremony with annoucements. 

(Then formal ceremony after)

They concluded the ceremony with the video of President Trump and the song.

The ceremony took 45 mins. 

I went to the Post Office in Oakland and applied for the passport because there were a lot of people getting in line.. I just wanted to get out the Paramount asap.

Now I am getting home.

As I said, I did not use that form lol, I filled and printed it out on the DOS website. It is convenient. I don't like they mess up with my application by misread the handwriting. 

I did not apply for the pp card because it is useless, and I also not expedite my pp because most people got it in 2 weeks.

 flied form N-400 in April 2017 and I have been "inline for an interview" since June 12th.  It as been over 200 days now. Should I file an enquiry online  with USCIS or should I continue waiting? Any advice please?

Im still inline since May 2nd. I called them twice already and submitted an inquiry. They said its still on normal processing time. You can submit an inquiry online or call if you want.

From where to where?

There is a restriction will prevent you to do that, you have to live in the USCIS Field Office jurisdiction for at least 3 months from the date you applied. So if you can establish it, then go for it, choose some Office has faster and shorter processing time, like Greer. haha

I filed last July and was already 'In-line for interview'. I just moved from Hercules to Vallejo and might go back in Hercules or somewhere within the area in December/January. So after moving, I need to be here for 3 months and if I go back, I will wait for another 3 months. Is that what you mean? Haha sorry i'm kinda lost about the 3 months thingy.
