OMG. when was your interview?

Nov 20th, and I had received my oath letter the very next day for 12/5. I called up USCIS about an hour ago to ask if its even worth going to the venue. My call was escalated to an actual officer who told me that the my oath was rescheduled because of an unforseen office closure.

If that is really the case then I’m guessing anyone with a 12/5 oath day will be rescheduled. Will wait for other folks on this forum to confirm.

@vkrishn - Did your case get updated as well?

My status didn't change, they cannot possibly cancel that with less than 48 hours notice

I was going to go until I called Paramount theater - ‭+1 (510) 893-2300‬ AND spoke to an officer via the USCIS website.

Good luck to you!

Okay guys...too much going on...case status updated literally 5 mins ago saying that my oath has been scheduled and that I will receive the notice in 30 days.

Will see what the new date is now. Hopefully I don’t have to wait till Jan 16th 😔

No update here. I am still scheduled for Dec 5th.

So weird!!!! Maybe I am rescheduled back for the 5th again then...My case status updated at 11:30 that a notice with the new date and time was mailed.

I honestly would apologize and call it out as a false alarm but the fact that I spoke to someone at Paramount who confirmed this is making me wonder.

Nope. Case status online remains as it was on Nov 21st and letter in documents tab says the same that Oath is on Dec 5th.

I just got a phone call (!) from USCIS saying the ceremony on the 5th has been cancelled. The person said I will be re-scheduled automatically for the Jan 16th ceremony.

Sigh...

did they give you a reason for cancellation? did they say it's cancelled for you or for everybody?
