I'm sorry to read that. Hopefully your experience is similar than kincowhe's and you receive letters for both interviews in two weeks.

Thankyou. I hope so too!

I called the customer support line as online status is still showing "Interview has been scheduled" and they said "We can confirm your interview has been cancelled and you will just need to wait for an update on your case" . So wait it is, If they call for I751 interview anyways, I will likely have to reschedule, as we are expecting a kid soon.

My interview was canceled yesterday "due to unforeseen circumstances". I wouldn't say it was unforeseen, to be honest... I was expecting it, but it is so frustrating to receive the notification. I have been waiting for my I-751 since June 2016. By the way Hansum2, my online status doesn't reflect the cancelation either.

If applying for Citizenship after being here 5 years or more, are the Tax Returns or transcripts needed for the interview?  I've been married to a US citizen for 15 years and have lived in the  US for the last 8 years. The appointment letter only says to bring the letter, green card, foreign passport, Other ID and selective service registration, if applicable, but online I saw something that states bringing in the past 5 years of Tax Returns.

Also, another site mentioned two passport photos but I think I read somewhere on this thread months ago that photos are not required, can anyone confirm?

Thanks

I read the interview notice carefully multiple times and in the back page of the checklist it reads that they recommend you bring them. It’s usually not needed but if you have the documents it won’t hurt to bring them along.  I’m taking mine just in case. I had them handy so I rather be overly prepared than lacking the info.
