I had my interview on 6th March and the interview went on for around 45 minutes. At the end of the interview, IO told me that she didn't have time to review my file and I should get a response within 60 days. It was a bit disappointing as the waiting game is not pleasant.

Surprisingly my online status changed on 21st March to "Oath Notice mailed". What a relief :)

My Oath is on April 19th.

I have been following this forum and thanks to all the members who shared their experience. Thanks, @JoeSchmoe2017 for leading this forum.

My oath is April 19th too! 😁

Hi all,

My interview Is coming up this week. I noticed couple of errors on the dates outside the US Section. During the interview can I:

1. Mention that I have some errors to correct before the oath or during the application review?

2. Print a new page with the changes and take it with me? Does the IO expect me to remember all the dates or can I refer to the print out?

many thanks!

I did my interview last week. Everything went well. It was scheduled for 1:20pm but I think  they called me around 2pm.

There were not 1 but 2 interviewers. One was apparently new and it was kind of a training. She was supervised by the other agent. Both women were really nice and friendly. She just went through some information about my application such as when Igot my green card, when did I move to my new place, who I was living with. I am glad I actually looked at my application before the interview, I would have never remember my green card date otherwise sicne I submitted my file 1 year ago.

Then she asked me most of the questions from the application where you have to answer yes/no. I just replied yes/no, nothing else. I smiled to some questions but everythign went smoothly.

She then asked me 6 questions. One of them was :'name one branch of the government'. I answered 'congress' which is a possible answer. at first the new agent was asking me if I was sure about my answer but the more senior employee told her that is a valid answer even if it does not really make sense . I agree with her that the possible answers should be legislative, executive or judicial.

Anyway, I was approved at the end. Probably lasted less than 15 minutes. My case is pretty straightforward anyway

Hi All,

Do you know if there is a limit on the number of visitors and if there is seating for visitors?

I am thinking of taking my parents along with my husband and 1-year-old daughter to the Oath ceremony.

There is seating, but keep in mind that the applicants sit in the orchestra section and others sit upstairs, so will not be sitting together.
