I just had my interview this morning. The whole process was smooth and easy and the interview officer was nice and laid-back. I was recommended for approval. Since the interview officer was pretty chatty, I asked him if filing online is faster than paper, he said generally yes. They have certain dates only for online filers' interviews. Hopefully my oath will be scheduled for 3/15!

Congrats!

Are you a SF filer? I don’t think SF has same day oath. All the oath ceremonies happen in paramouth theater in Oakland.

Yes I am SF filer, I was surprised also. They did the oath ceremony in the waiting area, 3rd floor, as other interviewees were waiting.

Yes I was lucky.  After the interview,  the officer asked if I am ready to take the oath to become a citizen right away and said yes. It took only one hour to get everything ready.

It's not  automatic,  you have to go there in person to change the status.
