They asked me all of those questions, but yes or no only

Are you trying to tell us something 😉 Joking aside, I have only seen once where someone was asked definitions of the words used in part 12 and that seemed to be due to the person interviewing having doubts about the persons understanding of the questions.

If i donr know what it means it normally means it doesnt apply to me. I really dont know what genocide means? Lol  on youtube they have sample of interviews and they ask about wierd questions that's why im asking if the io ask what those words means.

Genocide is the intentional action to destroy a people (usually defined as an ethnic, national, racial, or religious group) in whole or in part.

I am not sure how to add detail to the above. Sorry not been on this website long. I emigrated to the US on March 23, 1993. My port of entry was Los angeles. I got conditional residency for 2 years and in March 1996 was made permanent legal resident. Green card every ten years and-decided time to become an American. sent my application april 1.

I just had my interview this morning. The whole process was smooth and easy and the interview officer was nice and laid-back. I was recommended for approval. Since the interview officer was pretty chatty, I asked him if filing online is faster than paper, he said generally yes. They have certain dates only for online filers' interviews. Hopefully my oath will be scheduled for 3/15!

Congrats!!! Did your status online changed? I was also recommended for approval, but it still says interview scheduled. I am getting nervous.

My EGOV status has changed to "Case Was Submitted For Quality Review Based On An Approval Recommendation",but my ELIS hasn't changed yet. See my signatures.

I was also recommeded for approval. The interviewer was nice. It lasted about 45 mins.

I did my interview yesterday 5/2/2018 and I got to take naturalization oath an hour after my interview, and got my certificate thereafter. My P/date was 04/14/2017. It was pretty simple and fast.

Are you a SF filer? I don’t think SF has same day oath. All the oath ceremonies happen in paramouth theater in Oakland.
