Hello!

 

I have a question for those of you that have already done the Oath Ceremony. On the notice there is a list of what to bring with you to the Ceremony, and the last item is "Any other documents USCIS issued to you". Did you just take your green card or did you take anything else? I have a lot of forms, notices and even two temporary stamps in my passport, and I'm not sure if I have to take those (I don't think so but I wanted to confirm with you).

I only brought my green card and the Oath letter all filled out and signed.

My NOA date is 12/15 and my estimated waiting time is 3 days. Please update when your interview gets scheduled!

Husband had his Oath Ceremony today in Oakland.  We arrived around 9am, paid $20 for parking across the street, walked in and he went in one line and I went to the balcony.  There were 1022 new citizens from 86 countries.  It was a nice ceremony and I must admit I did get a little emotional and I'm the US born citizen.  We left around 11am and went straight to SSF Costco for his passport photo $4.99 plus tax and then made photocopies of his new certificate and ID and then headed to the USPS for his passport appt at 1:45pm.  

 

Thank you you everyone for your help and for letting us know the steps.  To everyone still waiting, best of luck and hope you finish this process soon.

I got my interview last Monday, everything went smoothly. My oath ceremony got already scheduled! It will be on December 5th at Paramount Theater (the next oath ceremony).

I was also on last Wednesday's ceremony. It was great, I really enjoyed it and I felt it was all really well done and organized. I didn't wait the line for passport either, it was super long and I bet some people were waiting there for two hours or even more. I applied for my passport yesterday (I had a previous appointment) and it took me 15-20 minutes. The only thing I would like to comment about it is that it was a little bit more expensive to do it at the post office than at the Ceremony, but I really don't regret not waiting that line.

 

I wanted to thank everybody in this forum. You guys have been a huge help in low moments when it felt that everything was being delayed. I just wish I knew about the forum earlier! You guys are awesome. Thank you so much! And good luck to all of you still waiting!

I had my I751 -  N400 combo interview on Thursday, everything went well. The officer at the end handed me a paper that says I've passed my test but still a decision needs to be made on my case. She said you'll be getting an invitation letter for the oath ceremony. So I'm here waiting to get a letter.  This morning I woke up to a text message that my I751 has been approved! But the wait continues ... :) 
did those of you with combo interview receive a approval letter for I751? or just the oath ceremony invitation?
