For question regarding "Other Names Used" it asks for nicknames also, should I list the nicknames (shortened versions of each other's name) my fiancee and I have used?

Also, for Yes/No questions that don't apply, should I leave them blank, check "No", or write in "N/A" next to them?  For all the other blank spaces that don't apply should I fill them with N/A?

Thanks in advance.

If they were just cutesy names you used for each other privately, no you don't need to put those.  Common shortened versions of your names don't need to be put either (ie.  Rob instead of Robert, or Jen instead of Jennifer).  That's for names you've officially used in place of your legal name elsewhere.

For sub-questions under the Yes/No checkboxes...if you checked "no" leave those sub-questions blank.  Don't write anything next to them.  The adjudicator will understand the sub-questions don't apply to you since you already checked "no" in the first part of the question.

For the other blank spaces (previous addresses, employment, multiple children info etc.), depends on your preference.  Some leave it all blank, some put NA in only the first box not applying to them, some put NA in every single box.

This part from the instructions is what is causing my confusion:

"Answer all questions fully and accurately. If a question does not apply to you (for example, if you have never been married and the question asks “Provide the name of your current spouse”), type or print “N/A,” unless otherwise directed. If your answer to a question which requires a numeric response is zero or none (for example, “How many children do you have” or “How many times have you departed the United States”), type or print “None,” unless otherwise directed."

So for instance where it asks for "Alien Number" and I'm a US Citizen, would the proper way to fill it out be to leave it blank or print "None"?  Or are both acceptable?

I left it blank (my husband is the USC)...but you could put NA if you wish.

I know.  Like I said, some do leave sections blank, and some put NA in every box.  Personally, I left entire sections blank instead of putting NA.

Okay thank you, did you fill it out on the new form or the old form?  Were the instructions the same?  Is the USCIS really that draconic that they will send an RFE for minor things?  I'm not sure if Ireland has postal codes (they have an EIR Code system but nobody really uses it...) so I'm not sure if I should fill in Postal code as blank or enter in the EIR Code... could doing this wrong prompt them to send me an RFE?

You need to make sure you fill out the most current form as found on the USCIS website.  If you submit an older version, your entire application will be rejected and sent back to you.  I didn't do a K1 visa...I was originally just answering your question about nicknames :)
