You just said it yourself :) 

 

 AFTER you got approved, you got divorced.  It wasn't as though you were divorced while your AOS or ROC was pending.  Being pregnant by someone else happened AFTER the marriage broke down, not during.  That's the reasons why I'm saying you should not be concerned by the case example you found.

 

As I and others have said, your marriage, divorce, and current pregnancy/relationship will have no bearing on your case because you are filing under the 5-year eligibility.  Neither will your almost-denial...because you were NOT denied.

Unless you've done something that warrants your green card being revoked (you haven't), anything and everything else is completely irrelevant if you're applying as a 5-year resident (you are). That's really all there is to it.

You are not filing based on your marriage to a USC but based on the 5-year rule of residency. 

How soon after you divorced?
