I noticed that on the USCIS site, CSC processing times for I-129F are now being done for

September 2006. Does that mean on average it will be another 6-7 months before they begin to process mine?

I filed in Feburary this year.

The statistics on VJ site says average of 86 days between 1st NOA and 2nd NOA. I received my 1st NOA roughly a week or so

after filing. Will I see a 2nd NOA in about 86 days roughly?

Hi there,

I'm new to all this but I think that the date of Sept 2006 that is mentioned on the ISCIS website is the date of the oldest petition they are processing. It might be that they have RFE's or something holding them up. If you fill in your timeline it will give you an approximate time for the NOA2...

Hope this helps :)

Or 6 months whichever is later............

Do you ever wonder why the date reported by the USCIS is magically 6 months almost to the day from the date of the posting? It is because they will never publish a date closer in than 6 mos. even if they are processing in petitions in two - four weeks time... (see times posted for VSC)

wellywench,

It's the date of the latest petition that they have begun processing (excluding any petitions that they have pulled out of sequence for some reason, such as new-hire training).

That's what it's supposed to be, anyway. Sometimes the dates they post aren't very accurate.

You should receive your NOA2 (approval) or RFE within 6 months.

As for timeline, go with members here who also process with CSC.
