Hi Everyone,

My fiancé's status just changed on the CEAC site from AP to issued. But the K2 still shows application received. Her interview was on Aug 8 at the USEM in Manila. Does anyone have any experience with something like this? I always thought the k1 and k2 are tied together so they would of been issued at the same time.

Has anyone here ever have a case where the k1 was issued at a separate time from the k2?

Any opinions or comments you have would be greatly appreciated!

Do you have any suggestions for a fellow Chicagoan who is waiting on the NOA2 for my Fiancee and her two teenagers?  I just want to make sure things go as smoothly as possible and I was wondering if there were any "lessons learned" pertaining to the K2s.  I am concerned about making sure the medical, interviews and Peer Counseling go smoothly.

PHILIPPINES ONLY!!!  CFO (Commission on Filipinos Overseas) INFO - Can't leave home without it!

PDOS (Pre-Departure Registration and Orientation Seminar) is for ages 20-59.  Peer Counseling is for 13-19 years of age.

It is required to have the visa in their passport for PDOS and Peer Counseling.

GCP (Guidance and Counseling Program) is for K-1 Fiancee and IR/CR-1 spouse ONLY.

Hi @jwlussow , for the k2 you just need to make sure you fill out the DS-160 and register for CFO for her teenagers as well. So far this is the only hiccup that I've run into so far.

Nothing out of the ordinary. If you're plain vanilla you have nothing to worry about.  Just be yourself. Look whomever you're talking to in the eye. Don't volunteer any information. Answer the questions straight away and don't embellish your answers. Keep them to the point.  Be honest everything you say.

That's about it. Oh.... don't forget to smile. :D

K2 is not normally tracked separately from Mom's case.  Don't worry. Their visas will be with yours but each will come in their own plastic bag.
