At Rally, Trump Blames Media for Country’s Deepening Divisions

So-called president pitches a hissy fit in Phoenix, and blames everyone else, for his erratic behavior, and failed to take responsibility for his ineptitude.

 

The speech was best suited for SNL, as it revealed that Trump is becoming a caricature of himself.

 

At Rally, Trump Blames Media for Country’s Deepening Divisions

 

After declaring, “What happened in Charlottesville strikes at the core of America,” Mr. Trump delivered a lengthy, aggrieved defense of his statements after the Aug. 12 violence that left one woman dead and the nation reeling at the images of swastikas in Thomas Jefferson’s hometown.

Notably, he omitted blaming “both sides” for the violence as he had on Aug. 15. Those remarks had prompted intense criticism, including from fellow Republican leaders, for seeming to equate the hate groups and the protesters who turned out to oppose them.

In an angry, unbridled and unscripted performance that rivaled the most sulfurous rallies of his presidential campaign, Mr. Trump sought to deflect the anger toward him against the news media, suggesting that they, not he, were responsible for deepening divisions in the country.

“It’s time to expose the crooked media deceptions,” Mr. Trump said. He added, “They’re very dishonest people.”

“The only people giving a platform to these hate groups is the media itself and the fake news,” he said.

The media isn't the problem, Trump is the problem, he still doesn't understand that words from the President matter. The media will scrutinize every word, every element of grammar and comprehension. The media isn't doing anything different to what they've done to Presidents in the past.

 

Trump is bringing all of this attention on himself and he has no one else to blame. He still won't pipe down the nasty rhetoric, he constantly lies and seemingly can only seem to act Presidential when someone else writes his speeches for him in front of a Teleprompter. 

 

If he wants to carry on Rallying and campaigning barely seven months in office then that is up to him but the only thing it does is appease his base, a fraction of the voters in this country.

Don Lemon criticized Trump and you have to say everything he said was right. It's amazing that people in this country take Trump seriously and think he's doing a great job.
