KULtoATL has made a very valid point. The translation should have the statement on it that he/she posted above that the document has been translated by someone who is fluent in both languages, etc.  Despite the translations coming from where the birth certificate was issued, the officer reviewing your documents apparently is a "by-the-book" kind of person who wants the translation to have the translator statement.  Best of luck

notarized means nothing for this.

 

my wife translated her documents no issues with a state like the one above. the hardest part was making sure it was formatted the same as the original. so it was a bit of time in ms word to format.

Try www.interlinguausa.com. They can mail the original translation and certification just for a mailing fee. So it would be translation cost + mailing fee and it includes 2 certified translations. If you need more copies than that it's $10 for every additional certified translation.
