Hi guys! Hope everyone is doing great. Me and my kids had just received our notice for interview and there's a list of items that we must bring to the interview. I just want a clarification about the medical examination or Form I-693. it says in the letter that we need to bring a completed medial exam and vaccination supplement in a sealed envelope, unless already submitted. I know we had our medical prior to coming here and we submitted it when we filed AOS..so is this a new or latest medical exam report that we need to bring? THANKS!

Was your medical report fully completed or were you given a waiver ?

Also the medical exam and report DS-3025 is valid for 1 year if you are applying for AOS) so look at the date on DS-3025 and make sure it did not go invalid before you sent in your AOS package

I checked my DS-3025 and it will expire on September 30, 2017. So, there's no need for us to undergo a new medical exam?..and besides, we already submitted a copy of it when we file our AOS.

Medical is valid for a year. When did you get your medical done? You might wanna check the expiration. You might be looking at the expiration of the form which is September 30,2017 😊

This is a standard letter that is used for more AOS cases than just the K1, therefor it states "unless already provided" .You should be fine (if they haven't lost the form or if the interviewer doesn't know the procedure). There is however a slight change that the officer will request a new one. If that does happen you may want to point out that you already had one. Worse case, you'll have to get a new one and sent the results in, delay about 4 weeks.

Yeah maybe I was referring to the expiration of the form..i was looking at the upper right hand corner of the form, that's where I saw Sept, 30, 2017 lol..thanks. Our medical was April 2016, so I guess it's not valid anymore for our interview.

I know it might happen that they might request a new one..that's why I posted here to ask so that we will just have our new medical exam before going to the interview rather than doing it after the interview that will only cause a delay.
