USCIS RFE review peocessing times?

Hi.

I filed my I-130 & I-485 petition (Marriage to USC) in april 2017, got an RFE for Birth Certificate, I-864 & I-94 in June 2017, Done Fingerprint same June. Submitted response to RFE   in early July 2017. I have regularly followed up by talking to a USCIS L2 officer and making a service request on Aug.03.2017. The only answer I have received over the last five weeks since I submitted the RFE answer is "Response to RFE is Under Review"  Can you shed some insight on what happens at USCIS after the RFE response is submitted? And How long it takes them to process their review?

 I have heard on here that it can take up to 90 days to review and be acted on.

Mine has been stuck on that for over 60 days. I put in a SR over a week ago but I have not yet received any communication from USCIS. I've booked myself an infopass for next week just so I can have some information/ Another VJ member has also been stuck on this status for over 60 days. He put in his SR and they told him they were still doing the background check on him. I don't know what's going on but it's frustrating! See my TL below.

Became a citizen 6/2024. Now filing for my mother.

I also have the same experience.. the waiting is frustrating.. I've sent an inquiry they said they will respond by October 3. waiting...
