How to book a flight ticket?

So I received my IR1 visa yesterday and my wife wants to book me a flight for tomorrow. I live in Jordan.

is it okay to book a flight ticket online? Or should I visit an office or travel agency office?

Visa Class: IR-1.

Country: Jordan.

Embassy: U.S embassy in Amman, Jordan.

Married: May 28, 2015.

Interview Date: Aug 17, 2017.

Interview Result: Approved.

VISA Received: Aug 21, 2017.

U.S Entry & Passport Stamp: Aug 25, 2017.

Permanent (Green) Card was produced: Oct 9, 2017.

Permanent (Green) Card was mailed to me: Oct 11, 2017.

Received My Social Security Card: Oct 29, 2017.

First Job in America: Dec 21, 2017.

Received Plastic Green Card in the mail (Permanent Resident Card): Mar 16, 2018.

N-400 Applied: May 28, 2020.

N-400 NOA: June 1, 2020.

Bio: June 19, 2021.

Interview: July 23, 2021.

Ceremony: Aug 13, 2021.

Congratulations :) arrive safe

Online booking from trusted websites is more preferable from my point of view, I recommend it more than visiting a travel agency, on websites mostly you will get cheaper flights, and more customization especially if you want to reschedule/cancel your flight in further time. 

 

Royal Jordanian offers non-stop flights (direct from Amman to USA cities).

All the options you mentioned are fine. Probably easier to just book yourself. If your flight has a transit, make sure you allow sufficient time in between flights especially if your POE is a different American city than your final destination.

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

Try to enter the US from POE that is reasonable to enter from , not too far , since they will question why you choose this POE exactly, so choose a reasonable POE. and don't make your next flight very soon , you should remember you will have time for POE interview (it may last for few hours)

i read the views on Denver as a POE everything is fine there and it seems reasonable. :)
