Hi everyone, I just read some experience here. We got approved for I-29F petition from USCIS last August 09, 2017. My nest step is applying K1-visa.

My question is do i need to wait the email or mail letter from NVC to get the reference number for applying K1? Im the one who will apply for K1

and im here in Philippines. Hope anybody here can response me. Thank you and God Bless

You'll need the MNL number from NVC in order to complete your UStraveldocs profile before filling out your DS-160 for submission :) In order to get the MNL number, your US petitioner can call NVC to ask for the case number and invoice identification number (IIN). Call a couple of weeks upon NVC's receipt of your file. If you call too early they might not have received your file from USCIS and/or they might not have assigned a case number.

The MNL number will also let you track your case file here: https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx

For my I-129F, K-1, AOS, EAD, AP and ROC detailed timelines, please refer to my timeline page :)

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

My sincerest gratitude to all VJers, especially the late geowrian.

Refer to the post by geowrian here: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/645211-next-step-after-approval-before-interview/  :) He touched on the process for Manila applicants in the last paragraph.
