Does anyone know how it would go if I were to change addresses while applying for a k1 fiance visa. I'm trying to turn in my i129f and related forms soon and saving up money at my parents while I look for a house right now. If I turned in the i129f with my parents address as the place we'll stay and then I find a house and we stay there will I have issues? Thank you for the help!

I assume you are the US petitioner? If your petition has not been approved, if you move during that period, you can submit the change online at this link: https://egov.uscis.gov/coa/addressChange.do. You can also call USCIS to get an officer to update your address for you. Just know that it might take awhile before you get to speak to a human though.

It's OK for you to move and live elsewhere, people move all the time and I'm sure USCIS knows that. However, you need to ensure the address is current and correct so that you'll receive your notices and letter from USCIS and NVC at a later stage. I don't think it would be much of an issue since the address on the form is your parents' and if you do move, they'll still keep your mails for you :)

And if you do move before her K-1 interview, make sure she list the new address on the DS-160 when the time comes.

For my I-129F, K-1, AOS, EAD, AP and ROC detailed timelines, please refer to my timeline page :)

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

My sincerest gratitude to all VJers, especially the late geowrian.

My situation was almost similar. I just kept my parents address so I didn't get confused and I would pick the mail up from there. Once my fiancé (now wife) got here and we applied for the AOS I used my new address on the forms. I think you can notify them of a new address while your in the middle of the K-1 process but I'm not familiar with how to do it exactly.
